If you are looking to experience the life of rural India and work for a village settlement then you can try out an internship programme with us.
As interns, you can stay with us in a rural settlement amidst the Himalayan range, travel to remote villages, interact with local villagers to understand their daily lifestyle, meet local women who are part of Women Self-Help Groups and get a thorough understanding of the life of rural India.
You can grab the opportunity to try your hands at farming, implementing organic farming, plantation, water conservation, construction of water storage tanks, educating students, developing personality of kids, creative art, cleanliness drives, waste management, creating awareness among women, initiating health camps, brainstorming ideas and help introduce income generation activities for villagers.
You can select any of the programme or project from our database. You can mention your dates in advance as per your schedule for an internship programme at any time throughout the year. We are flexible in terms of dates and are happy to welcome you any time throughout the year.
We get interns from various Indian institutes, colleges, universities and organisations like Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Delhi School of Social Work (DSSW), Chandigarh University, Aga Khan Academy, Hyderabad and Symbiosis, Pune and overseas universities.
Your internship fees will be used to manage your boarding, accommodation, and food for the time you are with us. We will provide you with an Internship Experience Certificate at the end of your programme.
